Dianne Keown has enjoyed painting ever since she was a little girl. She had an eye for landscapes and that particular skill still has a special place in her heart today.

"As an adult my favorite subject is still landscapes which, a lot of the times, have some form of water in them. I have always been in awe of the beauty of the natural world and it has been exciting to capture that beauty in art."

This is apparent if you are fortunate to see her greatest live masterpiece which is her backyard, where grace, beauty, and color compete with the brush stroke, offering sanctuary to a willing heart. She calls it her, "Outdoor canvas for the world."

Keown has gained an impressive audience. Not only does her art grace her local community, but it has been shared with an even larger audience through her involvement in the Art Buyers Guide. Her talent along with training has put her work in high demand.

She is a graduate of the Linda Art & Frame School in West Jordan, Utah, where she occasionally substitutes for Linda Jones, who sells art around the world. This mother of two has won top awards, judged art shows, and worked with Girl Scouts helping them create their own masterpiece paintings.
